Desiree Robedeaux

Legal Assistant

Desiree Robedeaux joined NCLR as a legal assistant in March of 2016.

She earned a Bachelor of Arts in 2015 at the University of California, Berkeley. As an undergraduate student she spent her time advocating for people with disabilities as an intern for the National Council on Disability, Berkeley Center for Independent Living, and World Institute on Disability. She also served as the UC Berkeley Disabled Students’ Union Co-President.

Desiree believes in the promotion of intersectional equality and plans to attend law school in the future in hopes of becoming an attorney at a nonprofit law center. In the meantime, Desiree is enjoying spending time around NCLR’s fierce legal team composed of dedicated advocates for LGBTQ+ rights and racial justice.
