Malhar Shah is a staff attorney from Los Angeles, California. Malhar joins NCLR after recently working as a legal fellow in the Opportunity Under Law project at Public Counsel in Los Angeles, where he worked on education rights, discrimination, and immigration cases, including Regents v. Department of Homeland Security, which seeks restoration of the DACA program, and Gary B. v. Snyder, a lawsuit filed against the state of Michigan seeking a fundamental right to literacy under the Federal Constitution.  

He received his B.A. from the University of California, Riverside in Gender and Sexuality Studies and Business Economics and his J.D. from Harvard Law School.
