How We Help: Community Members

To achieve justice for LGBT people living in rural communities, the National Center for Lesbian Rights:

  • Provides free legal information and assistance finding a free or low-cost attorney to LGBT people and their families
  • Trains and supports legal aid and pro bono attorneys in rural areas on providing respectful services to LGBT clients
  • Provides technical assistance to attorneys representing LGBT people in rural areas
