Maya Philipson is proud to be a second generation supporter of the National Center for Lesbian Rights. She was raised in Berkeley, California by out and energetic lesbian mothers, who taught her the importance of supporting, and participating in her community.

After realizing that one of her joys in life was helping people have better relationships with money, she became a partner at Robasciotti & Associates, Inc., a firm that specializes in comprehensive financial planning for women and same-sex couples.

She joined NCLR’s Board of Directors in 2010. She currently resides in an adorable apartment in San Francisco’s Chinatown with her best friend and an overabundance of house plants.
