NCLR helps attorneys gain the specialized knowledge that is necessary to adequately serve LGBT people. We provide technical assistance to attorneys who are representing LGBT clients. NCLR also helps LGBT people find attorney services through our toll-free national helpline.

NCLR receives thousands of phone calls and emails each year from individuals seeking assistance on legal issues related to sexual orientation and gender identity. We help direct these individuals to an LGBT-friendly attorney in their area who practices in the relevant field of law.
