Lawyers for City, Couples to Hold Pre-Hearing Press Conference on Marriage Cases
(San Francisco, CA, February 29, 2008)—A press conference will be held immediately prior to Tuesday’s oral arguments in the California Supreme Court on challenges by the City and same-sex couples to the constitutionality of state laws that discriminate against same-sex couples in marriage.

The press conference will conclude by 7:50 a.m. Oral arguments begin at 9:00 a.m. in the California Supreme Court, on the Fourth Floor of 350 McAllister Street in San Francisco. The court, in the Earl Warren State Office Building, is located directly across the street from the Civic Center Plaza, diagonally across from City Hall.
The court will hear the following case beginning at 9:00 a.m.: In re Marriage Cases (California Supreme Court Case Number S147999).
