Elizabeth Lanyon joined NCLR in September 2016, bringing 10 years of non-profit fundraising experience. Elizabeth’s interests in justice and equality for LGBTQ people have been the driving force behind her work in the social sector.

From 2013 – 2017, Elizabeth has served as the Co-Chair of the San Francisco Dyke March, organizing one of the largest Marches for lesbian visibility in the country with an estimated 30,000 attendees. Through grassroots organizing, strategic relationships and cultivating new leadership, Elizabeth’s commitment to fostering the lesbian community has set the groundwork for the future of Dyke March as a vibrant feminist platform for our movement.

Elizabeth’s experience in non-profit development is vast, having held fundraising roles in youth organizations, workforce and leadership development, and women’s economic empowerment through starting and building small businesses. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Alice B. Toklas Democratic Club and San Francisco Pride, and has previously served on the Board of the Association of Fundraising Professionals Golden Gate Chapter. She was a Co-Chair for the San Francisco Women’s March in 2017 and 2018 and continues to serve as an advisor to the organization.

In 2017, Elizabeth was included in Curve Magazine’s prestigious “Pride List” as one of their “Activism & Community” nominees.  Elizabeth holds a B.A. in English and an A.A. in Marketing. She enjoys yoga, reading feminist theory and cheering on the San Francisco Giants.
