Min R. Matson is a nationally recognized LGBTQ+ community leader, healthcare executive advisor, and advocate for equity, inclusion, and access. Throughout his career, he has worked at the intersection of leadership, social impact, and systems change, helping organizations build stronger leaders and more inclusive institutions. He currently serves as a Consultant with Egon Zehnder, where he advises boards and senior executives on leadership, governance, succession planning, and organizational transformation across the healthcare and life sciences sectors.  

Min brings more than 15 years of leadership experience spanning healthcare delivery, consulting, and organizational transformation. He previously held leadership roles with PwC, Point B, San Francisco Health Plan, Presbyterian Health, and Scripps Health, where he focused on improving organizational performance and expanding access to care.  

A longtime advocate for LGBTQ+ rights, Min has served in numerous nonprofit leadership roles, including as Board Chair of the Transgender Law Center and as a current board member of the San Francisco LGBT Center and AnnieCannons. He has also served on NCLR’s Finance Committee. He is passionate about advancing justice, opportunity, and belonging for LGBTQ+ people and communities through both his professional and volunteer leadership. 

Min lives in San Francisco with his 13-year-old child. Outside of work and community service, they share a love of all things theater—from Broadway musicals and local productions to school performances—and can often be found enjoying the vibrant arts community that makes the Bay Area home.
