Una started their time with NCLR in January 2024 and has grown within the organization from Immigration Intern to Office Administrator and now serves as Database Coordinator for Hogar. Una graduated from San Francisco State University with a bachelors in Cinema and a minor in Race and Resistance. While attending school he also interned with the Queer Trans Resource Center on campus working with queer students providing gender affirming care, community events, and general academic support for queer youth. They have a passion for helping LGBTQ+ people of color, immigrants, youth, and elders. He is very interested in the relationship that films and other media sources have on the lives of minority groups especially trans people.

Una lives in San Francisco with their partner and loves watching movies at the Alamo Drafthouse in their free time.
