National Women’s Music Festival Presents:
Centering and Being the Story for Change
Join Imani Rupert-Gordon of NCLR and Kim L. Hunt of Pride Action Tank for an LGBTQ Storytelling Event.
Two former executive directors of a small nonprofit working at the intersections of race, gender identity and sexual orientation talk about the power of story and the challenges of bringing the stories of marginalized groups to the center of their work. As Black women leading LGBTQ organizations, Kim L. Hunt and Imani Rupert-Gordon have built platforms for sharing the stories of their organizations and constituencies in service of changing systems. Join them as they share their experiences, lots of laughs and thoughts about the future for LGBTQ communities.
