We Are the Ones: An LGBTQ and HIV Response to Anti-Poverty Program Cuts
LGBTQ people and people living with HIV, like others across the country, are finding it harder to make ends meet. This call will explore affordability and the impact of federal lawmakers and Trump administration cuts to healthcare and food assistance one year later after last year’s One Big Beautiful Bill Act/HR 1. We will also talk about how LGBTQ people and people living with HIV are part of a growing economic justice movement and what you or your organization can do to get involved. This is a virtual call and will take place on Wednesday, June 24th at 2 PM ET – 3 PM ET / 11 AM -12 PM PT.
Attendees will leave with a call to action to uplift these issues and our vision for a better world on July 1.
This call will be focused on those at local, state, and national LGBTQ & HIV organizations. Supporters and community members are still welcome!
All registrants will receive a call recording and resources.
