Achieving LGBTQ Equality Through Litigation, Legislation, Policy, and Public Education

Join NCLR for #GivingTuesday!

Today, on #GivingTuesday, people across the country—and even around the world—are joining together for a common purpose: to give.

No doubt you have many organizations on your radar for this global day of philanthropy. I hope NCLR is on your list on this special day so we can continue the fight to achieve LGBT justice and equality.

Whatever you can afford—even just $5—will help NCLR continue to build on its momentum. Between the U.S. Supreme Court win in our marriage case, our #BornPerfect campaign helping secure more legislative victories protecting LGBT youth from conversion therapy, our immigration project surpassing 1,200 lives saved since its inception 20 years ago, and so much more—2015 was extraordinary.

We have momentum on our side, but our work is far from over. The fight for lived equality continues every day for many of us in our community. In states across the country, our friends can still lose their jobs for being LGBT. Transgender individuals can be denied medical care. And states can still refuse to add both same-sex parents to their children’s birth certificates or otherwise recognize our right to parent.

We need to continue to stand up for the rights that will make us all equal in the eyes of the law. Every dollar counts. Please make your gift of $5 or more today to support NCLR’s life-changing and life-saving work.

Our work is not over until we achieve the full promise of equality and justice for every member of our community. Won’t you join us?

Together we can change lives. Together we can make history.

With gratitude,

Kate Kendell, Esq.
